Breastfeeding Support - Postnatal

More than 80% of women in the United States initiate breastfeeding, but many do not reach their own stated goals to exclusively provide their milk. Early return to work, perceived insufficient milk supply, lack of family and community support and access to breastfeeding assistance are critical barriers to their success. Ensuring that mothers know where to go for help in the early days and weeks of breastfeeding should be an imperative goal.
